Privacy Scoring

Understand how Untrace tracks and visualizes your privacy exposure.

Privacy Exposure Score (PES)

Each asset in your wallet has a Privacy Exposure Score from 0-100:

| Score | Status | Description |

| 0-20 | Shielded | Maximum privacy, no on-chain visibility |

| 21-50 | Minimal | Limited linkability, good privacy |

| 51-80 | Partial | Some patterns visible, consider refresh |

| 81-100 | Exposed | Full history visible, refresh recommended |

Factors Affecting Your Score

Positive (Lower Score)

  • Longer time in shielded pool
  • Larger anonymity set
  • Random withdrawal amounts
  • Variable timing patterns

Negative (Higher Score)

  • Recent exposure to known addresses
  • Round number transactions
  • Predictable timing patterns
  • Small anonymity set

The Dashboard

Your Untrace dashboard shows:

Improving Your Score

Option 1: Refresh

Re-route assets through the shielded pool with fresh parameters:

  1. Click "Refresh" on the exposed asset
  2. Select refresh strategy (Standard or Deep)
  3. Confirm the transaction
  4. Score improves after anonymity set grows

Option 2: Wait

Sometimes simply waiting improves your score as:

  • More transactions enter the pool
  • Time distance increases from exposure event
  • Patterns become harder to correlate

Option 3: Consolidate

Merge multiple small exposures into a single refresh:

  1. Select multiple assets
  2. Click "Batch Refresh"
  3. All assets re-enter the pool together
